Wanda Howard

Wanda Howard, 80 of Bolivia passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:50 a.m. at her residence in Bolivia surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 24, 1936 in Bolivia, IL the Daughter of Johnnie and Edith (Dillon) Prior. She married Melvin Howard on February 18, 1956 in Roby, IL. Wanda worked as a homemaker and she was a member of the Taylorville Weight Watchers Club. She loved camping, sitting around the camp fire and taking long drives looking for deer and eagles.

Surviving are her Sons: Randy (Sandra) Howard of Delavan, WI; Bob (Kelley) Howard of Bolivia, IL; Daughters: Kathy (Troy) Cobbs of Kamiah, ID; Kerry (Jon) Sims of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Jessica Howard, Phillip Howard, Ty Howard, Tess Howard, Shelby Patient, Austin Patient, Brock Rodden, Gracie Rodden, Dustin Berry, Herschel Rhodes; Great-Grandchildren: Reegan and Camden Berry; Sisters: Lois (Gary) Adams of Rural Mt. Auburn, IL; Patsy Wicker of Blue Mound, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Step-father Roy Henderson, Brother-in-Law Bob Wicker, Nephew Paul Wicker, Mother and Father-in-Law: Ted and Ruth Howard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Dick Wamsley officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn, IL.
