Tammie J. Sutton

Tammie J. Sutton, 63, of Taylorville, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on December 15, 1959 in Taylorville, the daughter of Claude Porter and Mary Ester Turner. Tammie married Richard Sutton on December 30, 1982 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2020.

She is survived by her daughter: Ashley (Mike) Kerney of Dade City, FL; grandchildren: Rian and Jacob Kerney; sister: Sandy Reagan of Madisonville, TN; aunt: Jean Steele of Palmer, IL; and several nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Grove City Cemetery in Grove City, IL with Pastor Russ Burch officiating.

Memorials in Tammie’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
