Shirley D. Snow

Shirley D. Snow, 68 of Nokomis, IL passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her home.  She was born in Taylorville, IL on July 15, 1946. The daughter of Dwight and Marjorie (Ellrich) Hendricks.  She married Tommy Lee Snow Sr.; he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a member of the Faith Community Worship Center in Taylorville, IL.  She loved art, embroidering, shopping and her animals.  Most of all, she loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Lee Snow Jr. and his wife Angela of Nokomis, IL and Robert Lee Snow and his wife Robin of Taylorville, IL; daughters: Shari Lynn Riech of New Berlin, IL and Stephanie Rena Snow of Nokomis, IL; grandchildren: Amanda Kay Snow, Amanda Katherine Hernandez, Kristal Margaret Price, Bandon Lee Snow, Mikayla Page Snow, Hannah Nicole Riech, Matthew Root, Madisyn Leigh Snow and Brandon Lane; brothers: David Hendricks and his wife Janet and Ronald Hendricks and his wife Sue both of Taylorville, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her grandson, Tyler Snow.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Faith Community Worship Center in Taylorville with Pastor Jerry Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.
