Shirley Menin

Shirley Menin, 81, of Nokomis, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 6:15 a.m. at her residence in Nokomis. She was born December 9, 1935 in Fillmore, IL. The Daughter of Raymond and Eileen (Hanabarger) Williams. She married Larry Menin on May 8, 1966 in Vandalia, IL and he later preceded her in death on March 9, 2010. She worked as a homemaker. 

She is survived by her Son: Frank Menin (Trisha Beaty) of Gilbert, AZ; Daughters: Teresa (John) Stephens of Nokomis, IL; Tamra (Mike) Stone of Springfield, IL; Grandchildren: Bryan Nash of Fort Campbell, KY, Bobby Nash of Nokomis, IL; Isabella and Natalia Menin of Gilbert, AZ, Samantha Stone of Springfield, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Abby and Piper Nash of Fort Campbell, KY. Autumn Nash of Litchfield, IL; In-Laws: Ellen Menin of Nokomis, IL; Roxanne Williams of Coffeen, IL; Jay LaLonde of Nokomis, IL; Karen Williams of Taylorville, IL; Olga Vittone of New Lenox, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Robert Menin; Son-in-Law: Larry Nash, Brothers: Earl and Jim Williams, Sister: Janet LaLonde; Brother-in-Law: Reno Menin; Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law: Sylvia (Ed) Malec; Brother-in-Law: Sam Vittone.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis with Father Dan Willenborg officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis.
