Roy Norman Strunk

Roy Norman Strunk, 89 of Taylorville passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 8:07 a.m. at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville. He was born on November 21, 1927 in Springfield, IL the Son of Harry and Della Strunk. He married Norma Parrish on February 14, 1952 in Taylorville, IL. Roy was a Veteran in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his Son: Rick (Peggy) Strunk of Ohio; Daughter: Cindy (Bill) Weiss of Decatur, IL; Step-Son: Ron Kuntzman of Kentucky; Grandchildren: Phillip, Christine, Angela, Melissa and Carman; several great-Grandchildren; Sisters-in-Law: Janet (Jim) Roach of Taylorville, IL; Lorene (Ray) Noreuil of Taylorville, IL; Nieces: Deborah (Mike) Nickey, Kristie Jaeger, Anita Bluhm, Lori Buschon. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his wife.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Pastor James Jones Officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
