Peggy Brun

Peggy Brun, 68 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11:18 p.m. in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. She was born on May 7, 1951 in Springfield, IL the daughter of David and Norma (Porter) Stone. She married Leslie Brun in 1991 in Taylorville, IL. Peggy was a cashier at Wal-Mart for over twenty-six years; she loved her family and enjoyed playing Scrabble and other board games with them, as well as taking occasional trips to the casino.

She is survived by her husband: Leslie Brun of Taylorville, Daughters; Holly (Nate)Hapner of Taylorville and Melissa Hall also of Taylorville. Father; David Stone of Pana, IL, Four Grandchildren, brothers: Randy (Leann)Stone of Springfield, IL, David "Tom" Stone of Columbia, MO and Danny (Jessica)Stone of Mattoon, IL; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother. 

There will be no formal services but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
