Monica Fox

Monica K. Fox, 79, of Taylorville, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10:55 a.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.  Monica was born on June 15, 1942 in Rugby, ND to parents, Jacob and Lena (Volk) Gange.

Monica is survived by her children: Trina Szabo, Kelvin (Denise) Fox and Terressa Pearse (the late Mark Pearse) all of Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Timothy Szabo, Jacob Szabo, Haiden Fox, Amanda Fox, Brittney Womack, Amber Pearse, Malique Pearse, Navaeh Pearse, Zariah Pearse, Tristan Mills and Brent Mills; She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; siblings: Leonard (Denise), Alan, Tille, Carol, Donna, Ivan (Mary), Mary (Dan), Jack, and Sandy (Jeff), all of North Dakota; as well as several nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents, children: Tamara “Tammy” Fox and Tandra “Tandy” Curl; sister: Amanda Gange.

Monica enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids; She was always eager to offer words of advice to her kids and family, regardless whether they wanted it or not; She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date at Oak Hill cemetery in Taylorville, IL;

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
