Martha Elizabeth Williams Obituary (1933 - 2019)

Martha Elizabeth Williams, 86 of Effingham formerly of Kincaid passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:20 p.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born on August 8, 1933 in Logan County, IL the daughter of Ross and Lida (Byers) Williams. She worked as a secretary for an insurance company in Taylorville and was a devote Catholic. She is survived by her Son: Michael (Veronica) Beaman of Taylorville, IL; Daughters: Terri (Kyle) Taylor of Effingham, IL; Diane Bilyeu of Taylorville, IL; Eight Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Pat Reber of Taylorville, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Jack Beaman Jr. and several other relatives. It was Martha’s wishes to be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
