Lynn Renee Day

Lynn Renee Day, 53 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 7:38 a.m. at her home in rural Taylorville. She was born on November 29, 1968 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Paul and Paula (Grieme) Adams. She married Michael Day. on October 4, 2014 in Edinburg, IL. She was a receptionist at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, IL.  Lynn loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband: Michael Day of Taylorville, IL , Mother: Paula Grieme of Edinburg, IL Daughters: Kira(Christopher) Phillips of Kincaid, IL, Kathryn (Scott) Knoles of Bismark, IL, Samantha (Joe) Meza of Carrollton, IL, Sabrina (Nathan) Tinkham of Greenfield, IL, Sons: Teagan Wicks of Kincaid, IL, Paden Wicks of Normal, IL, Austin (Leslie) Day of Beaufort, S.C., Anthony(companion Jena Russell) of Greenfield, IL and Shane Day of Greenfield, IL, Grandchildren: Rhorick and Sebastian Phillips, Aleigha Kelzer, Brantley and Carter Knoles, Pedro and Levi Meza, Dakota and Athena Tinkham, Liam Day, Jeremiah Day, Sisters: Christine (Donnie) Stephens of Taylorville, IL,  Brothers: Tim (Michelle) Mann of Taylorville, IL, Lifelong friends: Michelle Davis of Edinburg, IL, Dale Bonacorsi of Rochester, IL, Marissa Dexheimer Grayslake, IL, Shaun Dexheimer of Hillsboro, Oregon., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022. at 10:00 a.m.at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Gaylord Spilker officiating. Inurnment will be in Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg, Illinois.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
