Linda Lou Richards

Linda Lou Richards, 67 of Taylorville passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 6:20 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on October 12, 1952 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Woodrow and Beulah Richards. Linda worked as a nurse’s aide and she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville.

She is survived by her: Daughter: Amanda Thomas of Taylorville, Sister: Judith Richards; Nieces and Nephews: Ann Mantell, Wendy Cooley, Van Mantell, Brandi Porter, Michele Richardson, and Jeffrey Perona. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: August Mantell, George Mantell, and Patricia Richards.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
