Juanita B. Orr

Juanita B. Orr, 87 of Taylorville passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 4:05 a.m. at Meadow Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorville. She was born on May 31, 1930 in Hartsville, TN the daughter of Cordell and Ollie (Fuqua) Huffines. She married Harry William “Pogie” Orr on August 20, 1952 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2015. She worked as a homemaker and playground supervisor at South Elementary School in Taylorville.

Surviving are her Son: Harry David (Denise) Orr of Goose Creek, SC; Daughters: Regina Daykin of Sycamore, IL, Shelly Ann Orr of Taylorville, IL, Sherry Lynn Miller of Taylorville; Grandchildren: Emily (Cory) Hunsley of Edinburg, IL; Ricky (Melissa) Daykin of Sycamore, IL; Josh Bingham of Taylorville,IL Rachael Daykin of Sycamore, IL; Ellery Orr of Goose Creek, SC; Doug Miller of Taylorville, IL; Alex Thompson of Taylorville, IL; Great-Grandchildren: Noah, Ashlyn and Brianna Daykin of Sycamore, IL; Keira and Jordyn Haymer of Sycamore, IL; Ruby and Demry Hunsley of Edinburg, IL; Sisters: Louise Zake of Scottsdale, AZ; Geraldine (Bill) Thompson of Palmer, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Danny Orr, Several Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
