So sorry, Donna.  I've lost track of you.  My last two letters to you at your son's never came back and I didn't hear back from you.  Hope all is ok with you after this terrible loss.  Love and miss you.

Donna and I extend our condolences to the entire family.  John served on the Edinburg School Board during my term as Superintendent.  He was a very positive board member and was active in attending meetings in and out of the district.  His presence on the board and in my life made a difference.  Blessings to his family.

Dr. & Mrs. Gerald D. Buckler Oct 12 2015 12:00 AM

Dear Family,

Sorry to hear that Mr. Peterson had died. It's times as these that sadness can be overwhelming to deal with. I have found that the BIble helps greatly because it gives us hope in seeing our loved ones again. For example at Ecclesiastes 9:5 the Bible says, "that the dead no nothing at all." Since the dead cannot know, feel, or experience anything, they cannot harm-or help- the living.

But it does point out that a future resurrection will happen. At John 28,29 Jesus promised "that all those in the memorial tombs will...come out." This is in harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth.
                                                       Please accept my condolences
