Joanne Lumb

Joanne Lumb, 70 of Taylorville passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 12:29 p.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born on February 25, 1951 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Perrine) Brown. She married George Lumb on March 23, 1968 in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2021.

She is survived by her daughter: Nicole (Dayle) Lawyer of Owaneco, IL; Sons: George (Michelle) Lumb of Tovey, IL; Robert (Cathy) Lumb of Kincaid, IL; Father: Robert Brown of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Justin, Jenna, Jeff, Bobby, Brittany, Austin, Brent, Nate, Joey; Eight Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Robert (Kim) Brown of Stonington, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother: Ruth, husband George, Sister: Mary.

Joanne will be cremated and private services will be held. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
