Jenneken "Jenny" McKinney

Jenneken “Jenny” McKinney, 85 of Taylorville passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:40 p.m. at Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville. She was born on January 16, 1933 in Eibergen, Holland the daughter of Garrit and Johanna Boeijink. She married Alan McKinney on April 12, 1972 in Springfield, IL and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2011. Jenny loved spending time with Family and Friends. She enjoyed bus trips, sitting on her porch swing and going to watch the Taylorville Trio Band play. Her favorite destination was the Tama Iowa trip. She was a member of the Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.

Surviving are her Son: A.J. McKinney of Taylorville, IL; Brothers: Gerard Boeijink of Holland; Jan Willem Boeijink of Germany; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Alan McKinney, 3 Brothers, Mother-in-Law: Josephine McKinney and Good friend Elsie Holstlaw.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL with Pastor Don Bettis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.
