I am so very sorry for your loss. I was blessed to know Jake since preschool at Trinity Lutheran, as well as every year after that from South School through THS. In all those years I dont think I ever saw him in a bad mood, be mean to anyone or have anything but a genuinely positive, happy, good spirit. I hope you are all able to find peace in the good memories soon.

My sincerest condolences to the Lohman family and friends. I worked with Jake when the first Dew Chilli location opened up on N Grand Ave. He started as a great bartender and worked his way up to become one of the best managers I've had the honor to work with. Even at our business and stressful times, he always put the customers and his staff first, making sure everyone left with a smile on their faces. I miss the comradery we shared and watching him grow as a business man while being an amazing father to Eva. I only wish I could have had one more drink and conversation with him before he passed. I will honor his life and memory by remembering the things that truly matter in life: family, friends, and to never stop pursuing your dreams. Rest easy Jake and thank you for your friendship .
