Hope (Schwab) Waterman

October 13, 1918 — November 4, 2015

Hope (Schwab) Waterman, 97, of Taylorville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 7:10 a.m. in Taylorville. She was born October 13, 1918 in Taylorville, IL the Daughter of John & Louise (Ware) Schwab. She married Thelbert Waterman on November 7, 1936 in Taylorville. She was a homemaker throughout her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville. 

She is survived by her Daughters: Marilyn (Don) Vedas of Pekin, IL, Kay Masterson, Coleen (Gerry Sr.) Gilpin and Kathleen Fritcher all of Taylorville, IL; Twelve Grandchildren; Twenty-Nine Great-Grandchildren; Five Great-Great Grandchildren; and Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded  in death by her Parents; Husband; Great-Grandson Johnathon, Great-Granddaughter April, Sisters: Kathryn and Anges and her Son-in-Law Jim Masterson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Becky Lembke officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.

Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
