Helen C. Porter

Helen C. Porter, 91 of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 12:55 p.m. at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care in Springfield. She was born on February 11, 1925 in Stonington, IL the Daughter of Elmer and Minnie (Bliler) Coffey. She married Harold Porter in October of 1947 in Stonington, IL and he later preceded her in death in 1983. She was a member of ATA, Stonington Methodist Church, and the Christian County Homemaker Extension.

Surviving are her sons: Bradley Porter of Springfield, IL, Kenneth (Delores) Porter of Clinton, IL Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brothers and Sisters, Daughters, Grandchild, Great- Grandchild, and a Daughter -in-law.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2016  at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Burial will be held in Grove City Cemetery,
