Helen Louise Morgan

Helen Louise Morgan, 90 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:50 a.m. at her residence in Taylorville, IL. She was born on January 15, 1929 in Bethany, IL the daughter of William Thurman and Sarah (Reed) Smith. She married William Morgan on December 31, 1947 in Morrisonville, IL and he preceded her in death. Helen worked for the Illinois Secretary of State’s office until her retirement.

She is survived by her Son:  Billy Morgan of Taylorville, IL; Daughters: Gloria Johnson of Taylorville, IL and Linda Jenkins of Chatham, IL. Grandchildren: Jeff and wife Kami Morgan, Katrina and husband Curt Rhodes, Greg Johnson, Nicole and husband Mitch White, Morgan Jenkins and Bradley Jenkins and several great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brother: Kenneth Smith, Great-Great-Grandson: Kaysen Kocurek, and Sisters: Virginia Skinner and Lois Overby

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Hill
