Francie L Schroader

Francie L. Schroader, 63 of Taylorville passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 8:40 a.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was born on December 24, 1957 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of John Henry and Wanda (Hughes) Dixon. She married Clarence “Sonny” Schroader on December 24, 1986 in Oklahoma. She worked as a home care nurse for 24 years with Addus Health Care out of Litchfield, IL. She is a member of the Taylorville Southern Baptist Church in Taylorville, IL. Francie loved to listen to country music and she loved to cook.

She is survived by her Husband: Clarence “Sonny” Schroader of Taylorville, IL; Step-Daughters: Kimberly (Tommy) Drake of Morgantown, KY; Lollie Alvey of Hartford, KY; Seven Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Step-Son: Barry Kent, Step-Son-in-Law: Mike Alvey, Brother: Tommy Clayton and Sister: Mary.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Dr. Richard McKirahan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
