Frances Verbiski

Frances Verbiski, 79 of Kincaid, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Aperion Capital Care Nursing Home in Springfield, IL. She was born on February 9, 1944 in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of William Gudausky and Josephine (Norville) Gudausky. Frances married John Verbiski on September 7, 1963 in Kincaid and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2002.

In her spare time, Frances loved watching old westerns on tv, including Gunsmoke, The Andy Griffith Show, and Bonanza. She found joy in fishing, quilting, and playing bingo Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

She is survived by her Sons: Jonathan Verbiski; Timothy Verbiski; and Brian Verbiski; Grandchildren: Nathan Verbiski; Trevor Verbiski; Zakary Verbiski; Great-Grandchild: Archer Verbiski; Brothers: Richard Gudausky; Frank Gudausky; Sisters: Monica Gudausky; and Carolyn Petro.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: John Verbiski; Parents: William Gudausky and Josephine (Norville) Gudausky; Sisters: Beverly Sieker and Marie Macis; and Brothers: Stanley Gudausky and William Gudausky.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Vance Massengill officiating. Interment will follow at Glenhaven Cemetery.
