Evelyn Beatrice Emerson

Evelyn Beatrice (Jones) Emerson, 86 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 12:25 a.m. at her home in Taylorville, IL. She was born on October 2, 1934 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (Yard) Jones. She married Frank T. Emerson Sr. on August 20, 1955 in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2006.

She is survived by her Children: Vanessa (Joe) Leach, Frank T. (Mickey) Emerson, Bart (Julie) Emerson all of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Joshua Leach, Colton (Tavia) Leach, Evy Leach, Stephanie (Glen) Goodrich, Franklin T. (Kayla) Emerson III, Gabriel Emerson, Timothy (Amanda) Prehn; Great-Grandsons: Emrys and Gunner Leach; Siblings: Mary Mollet, Bud Jones, Bill Jones, and Donna Pasqueno. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons: Bryce and Slade Leach, granddaughters: Christine and Katelyn Emerson and Brothers: Earl “Joe” Jones and George “Tom” Jones.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
