Evelyn L. Eller

Evelyn L. Eller, 94, of Nokomis, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:24 a.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville, IL. She was born on February 15, 1923 in Gasconade County, MO the Daughter of Frank and Iva (Spurgeon) Collier. She married Carl Edwin Eller on May 11, 1939 in Lake Side Park in St. Louis County, MO and he preceded her in death in August 1997. Evelyn worked as a homemaker.

She is survived by her Sons: Edwin Eller of Nokomis, IL; Raymond Eller of Nokomis, IL, Dale Eller of Howells, Nebraska; Daughters: Dorothy Rhodes of Nokomis, IL; Janet Harp of Bainbridge, IN; Grandchildren: Sherry Espland, Frank Rhodes Jr., Don Eller, Rodney Eller, Robert Garwood, Michelle Quates, Wendy Leasure, Dawn Wardell, Dan Eller, Jerri Dollins; Eighteen Great-Grandchildren; Thirteen Great-Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Virginia Mello of California, Velma Hiunson of Missouri; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Brother Charles Collier, Sister Elizabeth Laubert and Brother George Collier.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral Service will follow the visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Eller officiating. Burial will be held in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis, IL.
