I met neighbor & friend Karen's Aunt Emma when my mom moved to Hickory Estates.
My mom Adell Barger was Emma's neighbor & they became friends.
My mom was glad to help Emma when she needed help with something.
Emma would share her newspaper with my mom & give my mom her extra TV guide.
It was a blessing to me when I would be on the phone with my mom & hear the joy in my mom's voice when Emma would bring her newspaper to share it.
They went from being neighbors & friends at Hickory Estates then to both pass on to heaven less than 24 hrs apart. Keeping your family in prayer for comfort.

Emma was my neighbor. She was always so friendly. She loved to read out on her back porch and enjoyed a good visit. She was mad at my family when we moved to Taylorville. Every time I would see her after the move she would give me shit. She told me the new neighbors were not very friendly. Emma will be missed and there will never be another Emma. Rest in peace.
