Ella Mae Jackson

Ella Mae Jackson, 78, of Edinburg, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 9:10 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born April 25, 1937 in Vandalia, IL, the Daughter of David and Mary (Gray) Womack. She married Mack Benjamin Jackson on November 3, 1956 in Union Christian Church in Ramsey, IL and he later preceded her in death on December 7, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the South Fork Church of Christ in Rural Rochester. 

She is survived by her Daughter: Phyllis (Kenneth) Rose of Springfield, IL; Son: Robert Jackson of Springfield, IL; Sisters: Erva (Richard) McMillan of Bunker Hill, IL; EvaDean Morefield of Ramsey, IL; Emerald (Jim) Smallwood of Findlay, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her Husband.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at South Fork Church of Christ in Rural Rochester with Pastor Josh Bennett officiating. Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery in Rural Rochester. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
