Douglas Dieterich

Douglas Dieterich, 58 of Taylorville passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 3:45 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on June 26, 1957 in Anchorage, AK the Son of Charles and Wanda (Isley) Dieterich. He married Rose Daykin on November 9, 1995 in Taylorville, IL. He was employed at firestone as a bandury operator for 23 years.

Surviving are his Wife Rose; Daughters: Katrina Dieterich of Taylorville, IL; Kymberli Dieterich of Taylorville, IL; Son: Joshua (Kristal) Dieterich of Taylorville, IL; Step-Daughters: Kirstie Miller of Taylorville, IL; Jennifer (Josh) Brown of Taylorville, IL; Fifteen Grandchildren; Sister: Dianne Wicklund of Decatur, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters Kristie Barker, Judy Dourghty, Charlene Dieterich, Brother Michael Dieterich and Grandson: Brandon Durbin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Chad Foster Officiating. Burial will be in Ponting Cemetery in Stonington with military graveside honors.
