Dorothy K. Robinson

Dorothy K. Robinson, 85, of Taylorville, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 3:45 a.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville. She was born October 10, 1929 in Bloomington, IL, the Daughter of Kermit Wylie and Helen (Wilson) Babbitt. She married Joseph Britton Robinson on November 1, 1952 in Peoria, IL and he later preceded her in death on June 14, 2014. She was a homemaker and a member of the Taylorville Bowling Leagues.

She is survived by her Son: Jeffery (Terri) Robinson of Taylorville, IL; Daughters: Barbara (Robert) Southard of Taylorville, IL; Helen (Dennis) Garren of Tucson, AZ; Molly (Tim) Westover of Tucson, AZ; Grandchildren: Shelley (Matt) Sadowsky, Gregg (Christy) Garren, Teri Bankhead, Robyn Menossi, Erik (Sarah) Robinson, Scott (Brandy) Moore, Rachel Robinson, Todd Southard and Brad Johnsey; Twelve Great Grandchildren; Sister: Deborah Wylie; Brother: Jack Wylie of Bloomington, IL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brothers, her Son Joseph E. Robinson and Daughter-in-Law: Donna Robinson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
