Barbara, Marilyn, Mark Otto, & Brian, He is now with your Mother. What a time they will be having! I will always remember both of them together on the point, back in the day. Having a ball with us youngsters, playing horsehoes & lighting off fireworks on the 4th of July!!! They were both terrific people! I am disappointed that I have a prior commitment & cannot attend his services. Please know that I care about you all very much, even tho we have all gone our separate ways in this journey called life. As we grow older, we say more goodbyes. May God bless & keep him.

Marilyn, Mark, Bryan and James: You will not recognize the name when I attach it to this message of condolence so let me begin by saying that your mother Helen and father Clarence lived across the street from me, my mother and two sisters when we were young. We didn't have anything as kids but one thing we did have was two people who opened their home to the three of us and brought so much happiness and laughter to our lives. I am now 71 years old and I still remember being in their home as they shared their family and their life with us. They were some of the happiest times of my life. I offer you my sincere sympathy in the loss of your father. Marilyn, I know that you talk to my sister, Pat Durbin, every so often. She tells me when she sees you. I will always remember your mother and father; they were good people with huge hearts. I have thought of them so many, many times over the years. Your mother's smile and sense of humor was infectious.
