Guestbook

To the family of Charlie CarrolI,
Sorry this is late, but we just found out about it. I worked with Charlie at Central Stone Company till I quite. He was a hard worker and a lot of fun to be around. I will never forget a piece of advice that he gave Clem & I, before we got married. Clem remembers playing soft ball with Charlie and then going out to Benya's Supper Club in our ball suits (dirt & sweat) to have a cold beer afterwards. We got a dirty look, but got served. Benya's was where the Nokomis Ambulance Building is now. Benya's burnt down on a Saturday evening many years ago. It was a very popular place and drew people from all over. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy. Charlie was a special friend in our lives.
