Betty Jean Durham

Betty Jean Durham, 90 of Taylorville passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 11:55 p.m. at The Villa Health Care Center in Sherman, IL. She was born on March 28, 1928 in Newport, IN the daughter of William and Luceal (Blagrave) Ward. She married Clay Durham on September 27, 1946 in Taylorville, IL. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville.

She is survived by her Husband: Clay Durham of Taylorville, IL; Son: Ted (Bev) Durham of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: Anji Durham of Springfield, IL; Lisa Sims of Taylorville, IL; Aaron Durham of Livonia, MI; Christopher Durham of Pana; Kenton Durham of Ohlman, IL; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great Grandson; Brothers: Norman Ward of Taylorville, IL; Sisters: Judy Catlin of Decatur, IL; Sister-in-Law: Janiece Durham of Taylorville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Son: Thomas R. Durham, sisters: Shirley Roseberry, Thelma Hauk and Brother Bill Ward.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Burial will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Taylorville.
