Berniece G. Riley

Berniece G. Riley, 90 of Taylorville passed away at 11:46 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville, IL.  She was born January 27, 1925 in Assumption, IL daughter of Guy and Theresa (Richardson) McBride.  She married George Morrell and he preceded her in death in 1959.  She then married Eugene Riley and he also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Nola Stillwell of Taylorville, IL; grandsons Rohn Burke of Taylorville, IL, Steve (Cheryl) Burke of Chandler, AZ and Brad (Melanie) Stillwell of Taylorville, IL; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Genevieve (Butch) Burrus of Rosamond, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Berniece was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylorville, IL.

Graveside services will be held at Valley of the Sun Memorial Park in Chandler, Arizona.  Local arrangements are entrusted to Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132 and will be accepted by Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, which is in charge of arrangements.
