Adell Alise Barger

Adell Alise Barger, 87 , formerly of Kincaid passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 12, 1933 in Tovey, IL the daughter of Oscar and Celine (Mathieu) Noreuil. She married Bruce Glendal Barger on February 26, 1950 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2015.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville. She was blessed to have volunteered 12 years at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She loved to travel and enjoyed the Taylorville Senior Citizen's bus trips. Adell loved people and enjoyed making new friends wherever she went. The last few years she was a resident of Hickory Estates and they were a blessing in her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her Daughter, Laura (Kevin) Meikle of Kincaid, IL, Grandsons, Glen (Danielle) Barger of London England and Aaron (Kristen) Meikle of Kincaid, Brothers, Robert (Judy) Noreuil of Taylorville, IL and Tom Noreuil of Kincaid, IL, and several Neices and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Son: Michael Richard Barger, five brothers and one sister.

Private Services will be held at a later date. The service will be posted to the funeral home website underneath the obituary as soon as it is available for everyone to see.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christian County Senior Citizens Center in Taylorville.

Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
